My Hiatus

Hello all! I am finally back.

I cannot even tell you what took so long. Life, I guess. I am in still in Colorado and loving it.

Okay, I think that I mentioned a project that I was involved with called, 78 Tarot. 80 artists from all over the world were invited to this project. Each one crating a single card. This project, so far, has been one of the highlights of m life. I enjoyed it so much and it was such an honor to be working with artists that I have admired for so long. Here is the artwork for the card from that deck:

Since then, I was invited back for the next project: 78 Tarot Nautical: Tarot of the Water.

I am also illustrating a book, which is what I have wanted to do since I was little. I am really excited about it, but can’t really share much of a glimpse, yet.

“Feathered Fae”

This is a piece that I drew in graphite on paper. I then scanned it and colored it digitally. When a drawing comes out just the way I want, it is nearly impossible to get the same feel and texture when coloring by hand, so I use my magical digital coloring skills to retain that feeling and keep the texture.

I finished another little drawing. I haven’t done one like this in a while. The thing that I love about pencils, is that they are so portable and convenient. I will be drawing a lot more. I will also be selling the smaller original drawings at very reasonable prices.

I finished my ‘Fairy Village’ Painting.This is the best photo that I could get, as it would not fit on my scanner.

The website for the 78 Tarot project is up! I am so excited!

Lots of arting here

I took a few days off of the internet for my birthday. I am back! 🙂

The Femme Thou Art Collective’s January auction is over. I wasn’t able to sell my original piece. Oh, well. It will probably be available in my Etsy shop soon. There will be another auction next month with a new original piece of art.

I have done a couple of mini paintings on little wooden plaques. I enjoyed doing these so much and they took little time, so I will be accepting commissions for them, These little ones are 3×5 inches and are $12 + shipping. I will not be making prints of most of these little guys, so each one will really be one of a kind. Prices will vary by size on commissions.
